Can I use CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils in my everyday car?
CAM2 recommends that in order to protect the warranty on your vehicle, you should use fully licensed products that meet the warranty recommendations for oils by your vehicles’ manufacturer. At CAM2, we offer other products that meet these requirements and are happy to supply you with the quality of products recommended for your vehicles. However, if your warranty is no longer in effect and you change your oil at the recommended interval, we foresee no negative impacts on the performance of your over-the-road vehicles if you wish to use CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils.

Can CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils be used in methanol and alcohol engines?
Yes, all grades of CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils are suitable for use in methanol and alcohol engines.
Can CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils be used in motorcycles with 4 stroke engines?
Yes. Most motorcycles today are 4-cycle and can use CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils in either on- or off-road motorcycles. One of the key factors in motorcycles is the wet clutch. Many of the friction modifiers used in regular motor oils can lead to slippage of this clutch. CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils, with the exception of Nitro 70, do not contain these friction modifiers and will work great in 4-stroke engines.
2- Stroke motorcycles need special 2-stroke oil.
Can I use CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils in 2 Cycle Engines?
No, 2 - Cycle engines are quite different and require special 2-stroke oils designed specifically for them.
2-cycle engines can even be different from one another. Outboards need special oils. Air-cooled engines can sometimes use outboard oil, but some may require different oils. It depends on the size of the engine and how the manufacturer has designed it.
Can I use CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils in a Mazda rotary engine?
Yes.
Can CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oil Synthetic Blend 20W-50 be used in a wet clutch application?

Are any of your oils designed for kart racing applications, such as 5 hp Briggs and Stratton flatheads?
CAM2 Blue Blood Racing Oils should work fine in a 5HP flathead 4-cycle. We suggest you stay on the same viscosity grade you currently use. |
